While chocolate gets a lot of attention around Easter time, there are a lot of fun bunny, flower, and “baby chick” themed meals and snacks for kids that can offer excitement and nutrition all at once! My boys love when I make food into bunnies this time of year. Today I created the “snacktivity” below for their afternoon snack. You can find out how I mad it on my latest instagram post.
And there are a few others that I have found that plan to try over the coming week and I thought that I would share them in case you want to try too!
The first few can be found on my friend Heathers’ feed. I love how easy her “Bunny Bowls” and “Coconut Nests” are to make and they are both just too adorable! And for a high fibre twist on “Nests”, check out Jessica Penner RD’s latest post!
Abbey Sharpe has the most amazing recipe for adorable Vegan and Gluten Free Rice Krispie Eggs!
Another idea I love is my friend Ashley’s Easter Egg Filler Ideas . She also has a great Easter “snacktivity” that incorporates site words and nourishing snacks.
Hope this gives you a few fun and nourishing ideas for the week ahead! Happy Easter!
